Throughout 2025, AMP is promoting the benefits of public power from the perspective of commercial and industrial customers in a variety of AMP Member communities through videos and stories. The campaign will highlight the reliability of public power and the reasons that public power communities are an attractive option for businesses.

Annual Conference

The AMP Annual Conference provides an opportunity to learn from industry experts and network with peers. It attracts more than 350 elected officials, utility executives and staff from Member communities, as well as AMP staff, consultants and Municipal Electric Partners.

AMP’s Generation Operations group provides the administration, management, and oversight of AMP generation assets.

Mutual Aid
Mutual Aid

The Mutual Aid program is a network of municipal electric systems that stands ready to provide assistance to fellow municipal systems.

Lineworker Training

The AMP Apprenticeship Training Program provides Member utility personnel with a high-quality, certified training program that combines both formal classroom training and hands-on personalized instruction. AMP is a Registered Apprenticeship Sponsor with the U.S. Department of Labor, which allows Members, regardless of which state they are in, to register their apprentices for certification through AMP’s program.
