AMP Transmission (AMPT) is proposing the Brewster Second Source Reinforcement Project to improve reliability for the customers in the Village of Brewster and surrounding areas.
Project Details
The Brewster Second Source Reinforcement Project involves the expansion of the 69/12-kilovolt (kV) Brewster Substation on the south side of the village and the construction of a new 69-kV transmission line (approximately 5.5 miles) between the Brewster Substation and the new Alpine Substation, owned by American Electric Power and located west of Wilmot, Ohio.

AMPT invited the community to learn more about the Project and share input in the ways listed below:
AMPT held two in-person open houses to receive public input. The community was able to view detailed maps and talk with AMPT representatives about the proposed study segments.
