COLUMBUS, OH: American Municipal Power, Inc. (AMP) is pleased to announce that Dan Remlinger has joined AMP as vice president of finance.
Remlinger brings almost two decades of experience in the energy industry to the role. Prior to joining AMP, Remlinger served as divisional chief financial officer/vice president of finance for Nationwide Energy Partners and Armada Power, where he was in charge of recapitalizing the business and served as a trusted advisor to the CEO and COO. Prior to that, he worked for Duke Energy Corp.
“AMP is fortunate to have someone with Dan’s background in finance and the energy industry join our team,” said Marcy Steckman, AMP senior vice president of finance and CFO. “He is a results-focused professional who has a record of orchestrating complex financial strategies for companies in both regulated and nonregulated environments. His background will be a tremendous benefit to AMP and its members.”
In this role, Remlinger will report to Steckman and will manage all aspects of the operations of the Finance Department, including accounting operations, energy settlement operations, financial reporting, treasury, debt management, financial planning and analysis; and will provide value-added member financial services.
Remlinger holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Findlay.
