AMP Transmission (AMPT) is proposing the Deshler Second Source Reinforcement Project to improve reliability for the customers in the Village of Deshler and surrounding areas.
Project Details
The Deshler Second Source Reinforcement Project involves the expansion of the 69/12-kilovolt (kV) Bremer Substation Bremer Substation in Deshler and the addition of a new 69-kV transmission line (approximately 12 miles) between the Bremer Substation and the new First Energy/ATSI Sand Ridge Substation in Weston, Ohio.

AMPT invited the community to learn more about the Project and share input in the ways listed below:
AMPT held an in-person Open House from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2024, at the American Legion located at 505 South Stearns Avenue in Deshler.
The community was able to view detailed maps and talk with team members about the proposed study segments and Project.
