American Municipal Power, Inc. (AMP) is celebrating the work of all of the public power lineworkers in its member communities by collectively naming them as the 2022 inductees to the AMP Wall of Fame. The 2022 Wall of Fame announcement occurred at the AMP Board of Trustees meeting on April 20. The timing of the Wall of Fame announcement follows the National Lineman Appreciation Day on April 18, a day set aside to honor the hard work and dedication of lineworkers across the United States.

The annual award — sponsored by AMP’s President and CEO — was initiated in 2008 to recognize an employee who advances AMP’s vision and mission — “to be public power's trusted leader in providing members and their customers the highest-quality, forward-looking services and solutions,” and “to serve members through public power joint action, innovative solutions, robust advocacy and cost-effective management of power supply and energy services,” respectfully.
