The city of Cannelton, Indiana, has become the newest member of American Municipal Power, Inc. (AMP). The AMP Board of Trustees recently approved the application accepting the south central Indiana community as the 130th member of the organization. AMP now has members in eight states.

Steve Dupee, director of the Oberlin Municipal Light & Power System was elected Chair of the 20-member American Municipal Power, Inc. (AMP) Board of Trustees during the 2014 AMP/OMEA Annual Conference in Columbus.
